National Whipped Cream Day

On the twelfth day of Christmas celebrate with a cup of hot choclate or a bowl full of ice cream topped with whipped cream as today is national whipped cream day and some stores take advantage with discounts.

Basic Whipped Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Cup of Heavy Cream

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1 Tablespoon confectioners' sugar

Directions:

In a Large Bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks are just about to form.

Beat in vanilla and sugar until peaks form.

Make sure not to over-beat, cream will then become lumpy and butter-like.
